After obtaining his bachelor’s degree at university, Jim went on to study at Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in San Jose, California for another 4 years, in order to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. As a member of the International Chiropractors Association, he has practiced in the United States, Indonesia and the Netherlands. He understands and appreciates the amazing abilities of the human anatomy and strives to help every patient live their best life in a balanced and pain-free body.

How are chiropractors educated?

Chiropractors must earn a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) and a state licence. Doctor of Chiropractic is a 4 year university program, which also requires at least 3 years of undergraduate college education before being admitted to the course study.

Chiropractors are trained in academic areas such as neurology, radiology, microbiology, psychology, ethics, biology, gross anatomy, biochemistry, spinal anatomy, and more. During the course of the their education they also do research into clinical nutrition, public health, pediatrics and various other health and wellness related areas.
